The obama rally I went to a few weeks ago was so much fun. Not only did I get to scream my heart out for Mr. Awsome (Barack), I also got to get a great veiw of all the types of people that make up Los Angeles. Here is some of what I came up with.
Rally Crashers: Those people with te wierd flag screaming for some tropical island’s freedom. At an Obama rally, wierd, I know.
Too Interested for thier Own Good: Probably would have honked if it were a bomb Iran rally, they just really want to be a part of something, so they honk thier heart out every chance they get.
Creative: My favorite was a woman with a poster that said “Mooselini” and featured a picture of Sarah Palin. Verrrry original, I also liked one that featured a slogan that I often mumbled in my own defens. “I may be to yourng to vote, but I’m not too young to hope”
Wierdo Right Wing Republican With Sarah Palin Car Flags: Honey, the name says it all!
Innocent Folks who just love Peace: Me, my mum, milli, Bella and I. We love Obama, and had an amazing time screaming our hearts out for teh cause with some lady and her seven year old duaghter. Most fun I have ever had on the corner of Wishire and Sepulveda, and the only time I bothered to hang out by the federal building.
So yes. I really enjoyed it. I remember when I was younger and would read tales of hardship, and hope. Of course, I assumed it was what I felt before my birthday, or on a roler coaster. But in both these instances, I had it mixed it up with anticipation. it was the first time, at this rally, that I felt true honest to god hope welling up inside of me, like a glowing candle in heart, filling me up, feeding me with such pure joy. I thought to myself “so nthis is it, it can only be the ever famous hope.” it was so pure, I wanted to jump out of my skin with excitemnt. Sothis is it. This is hope. If you are not already voting for Obama, and don’t plan on it, I wish that there was a way for me to convey how much this election will effect the next four years of my life. Where I go to college, what job I get. I need this so bad. I want free health care whwn I’m in college. I want equal pay for equal work. I want so badly to be free! So please, dont vote for yourself, vote for me, and all of the kids like me, who want a shot at success in thi s world.
Thank you America!
hugs and kisses!!
